01 About the present work.

About the Present Work

Focusing primarily on copier sales,
I am also aiming to acquire customers through various channels.

The main products handled by the OSS Business Division (referred to as "in-house products") are multifunction devices that include copiers, printers, and fax machines. In addition to copiers, we actively introduce other products handled by different departments (referred to as "external products"), such as business phones, secure and cost-effective communication environments, websites, and WiFi router rental services, depending on customer needs. This allows us to offer a range of products necessary for business. As a result, we have various channels such as inquiries from the web and referrals from external products. We set KPIs for each channel and, based on data from the past year, work on allocating channels according to the strengths of our team members. Instead of having a section manager take the lead in making appointments, we ensure that everyone understands that there are opportunities for all, thereby boosting team morale. Currently, as a manager, I am pleased when I see the growth of my subordinates and when their business negotiations succeed with my support.

Handling a diverse range of products requires a lot of knowledge about the products and services. With the support of my supervisors and the constant educational sessions and support provided by manufacturers, I receive thorough guidance on even the smallest details. Additionally, by interacting closely with customers through various products, I am able to learn many things from them.
When I was in a field sales role, I visited about 30 companies per month, which allowed me to meet 30 business owners. For example, in meetings with entrepreneurs who are starting new companies, I could learn a lot about how they establish their businesses, their strategies, and their approaches to hiring and managing employees. These experiences offer valuable insights that contribute to my personal growth.
Since the range of industries I engage with is broad, I can gain knowledge about various fields, such as real estate and healthcare, even while working in the telecommunications industry. This is one of the appealing aspects of the role.

Private life

On my days off, I prefer to stay indoors and relax. On my days off, I prefer to stay indoors and relax.On weekdays, I sometimes go out for drinks with team members, but on weekends, I prefer to relax at home, watching movies, playing games, and generally staying indoors. Recently, however, I purchased a cross bike and now cycle for about an hour and a half each way a few times a month to stay active and refresh.

Arrive at the office and check the team's sales status during the morning meeting.
Check emails and other messages, and provide guidance to subordinates.
Receive business updates from subordinates who are on visits and provide advice.
Go out to the client site and give the presentation prepared the previous day.
After returning to the office, receive sales results reports from subordinates and check the progress.
Gather subordinates and conduct role-playing exercises and training.
Develop the action plan for the next day and leave the office.
